UNDERLAYMENT (EXTERIOR GRADE)

Exterior Grade Softwood Plywood is most commonly used in the construction industry for its structural qualities and price point. It is usually made from softwoods such as Douglas Fir or Pine. A structural exterior (water resistant) adhesive is used to adhere the veneer layers together. The higher grade panels are sanded on both sides and are sometimes referred to as Sanded Plywood or Sanded Panels.

UNDERLAYMENT SIZES

When referring to thickness, exterior grade plywood is nominally smaller than the referred to dimension e.g.: ¼ inch panels are actually 7/32” or ¾” panels are actually 23/32” etc. See our list of available sizes below.
